WHO WE ARE?

League of Extraordinary Mutts (LOEM) is a 501c3 non-profit, no-kill, volunteer dog rescue organization serving Southern California area. We are focused on rescuing dogs from public shelters in the area. Our main focus is on dogs on euthanize list in shelters due to pet overpopulation, urgent medical issues, or behavior issues. We also rescue dogs in danger of abuse or neglect.

β€œWe place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes...”

We place dogs in πŸ’– loving, 🚩 responsible, committed 🏠 permanent homes following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and πŸŽ“ educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. LOEM is run entirely by volunteers who are dedicated to helping  πŸ‘ homeless dogs. Animals in our care are spayed or neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care, are microchipped, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes.
